Turkey Supper
On the first Friday in November our Ladies Aid Society hosts their annual Turkey Supper. This is clearly one of the most popular events of the year in our church.
The ladies prepare a true banquet of turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, salads, etc. Drinks and a smorgasbord of desserts round out the meal. There is not set charge but a free-will offering is received to offset the cost.
In addition the ladies offer, as a service to the members, a healthy assortment of homemade breads, cakes, pies, cookies, etc. for purchase. Our quilters also offer a number of special quilts for sale during the meal at reasonable prices. Other items (which vary from year to year) may also be purchased.
Many people in our community make it a point to attend this special supper every year. Perhaps you would like to make it a family tradition also in your household. No reservations are necessary. Just come with a healthy appetite!
