Home - School Society
Our Home-School Society functions as a booster club for our school, but its main purpose is to unite home and school in providing the best possible education for our children. When our parents and teachers join together, the children benefit.
The HSS also assists in raising money for special school projects and handles concessions at our basketball games.

St. John’s Home & School Society
PURPOSE
- To contribute to and cooperate with the objectives of Christian training and preparation for Christian living for which our school is maintained;
- to promote mutual home-school understanding, unity, and cooperation through a working partnership of parents, teachers, the Board of Education and the Church, and;
- to assist in securing and maintaining equipment especially for extra-curricular activities of the school and such additional projects as the Society desires.
MEMBERSHIP
- Active Membership is open to anyone that is interested in furthering the aims of this Society and who is a communicant member of St. John’s or of another Lutheran Church in fellowship with St. John’s.
- Associate membership is open to parents or guardians of children enrolled in St. John’s Lutheran School who are not members of churches in fellowship with St. John’s.
AGENDA
All meetings of the Society will be held at 6:30 P.M. in the Music Room with one exception: the Welcome Dinner Meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the gym.
If you have any topics you would be interested in hearing about, please let us know. We would also like to hear suggestions about any new idea or project to work on for this year. If you have any questions about H.S.S. we encourage you to contact any of the officers or e-mail comments/agenda items etc. to the HSS Secretaries Office.
